    Hi everyone
    Going back to this shimmering in sli is it possible it could be the quality of mt dell E193FP tft vga lead it is quite thin and if i select 1024 x 768 @ 60 hz i lose the shimmering but the icons are crap.
    Luckly it as a detachable vga lead

    Hi Sparky. I dont know how you check V sync for nvidia cards as I have an ATi but it should be in the driver options. Check out this thread and see if you have the same problem.

    Going to send this board back and see if i can get a different mobo and video card can anyone recommend a decent mobo not bothering with sli and which 6800 graphics card to go for that is quite quiet, cause this 3d1 is so damn loud.

    Cheers kez for clearing that up about the 6 pin because i emailed gigabyte the same question and all they said was dont know maybe you should send the bundle back to the shop great tech advice from a manufacture NOT.
