    Nope, already connected that one.
The first section fits the chassis fan socket on the MB, but then has another cable atached to that socket which has the white 4 socket plug, but only 2 pins inside. (very confusing).

just noticed, it comes from the front panel where the XBlade logo is, it's definitely a hidden LED behind the black mesh.
Here's a link to an article which confirms it: http://www.overclockercafe.com/Revie...lade/index.htm
Not sure where to plug it in though.

Mmmm my case had one of them. I actually took out the two pins and connected them directly to a motherboard fan header. I wouldn't advise it, works fine for me but I can't garauntee it will for you.
Do you have any pins left unused at the moment? I'll check voltages and see if you can do anything with it.

as i said previously, it's a strange cable, it's actually 2 joined together, end-to-end. i'll try & draw the connection(s), & see what you think.

I know what you mean I think. Can you unplug the second cable? If so, what do you get then?

ok, this is weird, i unplug the second cable, and the connector is a long white plug with 2 holes & 2 sticky-out-bits, lol

    kinda like this:

Also, this plug actually fits exactly onto the chassis fan socket

erm...... I'm stuck I'm afraid. Don't know. Maybe try what I did - if you want to risk it. Wait to see if anyone else knows.....

Is the 4 socket plug the same as a Molex in the same sence as one of those that
    connect to your power supply.

opposite of the one you connect to your CD drives's / harddrives etc etc.

So one that connects to a Molex off your PSU.

Yes it is, the socket on the first part of the cable is long, thin & white. Then the second part of the cable connects to that, with the molex socket at the end).

I hope that makes sense, lol

Well in that case, it can just go into your power supply, like an optical drive would?

Good luck man. I remember my first build. I didn't know grounding yourself was so important. End result 170 dollar mb paper weight.

Ooooh. Unlucky. I don't think I've ever statically knackered anything - I tend to be careful about it. I have broken quite a bit of stuff just through general carelessness though.
