I was thinking of trying that, but I think my gpu is slightly too close for a 2nd fan to fit in.

Panaflo fans are great, and usually pretty expensive...

Just be aware that they don't always come tailed (i.e. with the mobo/PSU connector). I would check with Scan before you buy.

    i love my evo 33

tho i hate the amber fans, they really are noisy

i swapped the one fan out for 2 silent adda 80mm fans in a push pull config towards the back of the case, and it cools really well, and it looks cool too. also i cannot hear it!

about 33 idle as per my sig

I have an EVO and its stock at 28. the heatsink isnt warm at all.
Agree it starts to sound loud if you were going to thrash it up to 4000, but never felt the need. I think its a very good HS, but Im after silence with the fan. The Evo 120 is not as efficient a cooler as the evo 33, but its quieter. Its also nearly twice as much.

I like the idea of two silent ones and might try that.

    The alternatives are
    Thermaltake Big Typhoon
    TP 120
    Evo 120
Zalman CNP9500 (the first reviews are out for this) Its about £50.

    Ahh good.

I'm definately going to replace the akasa fan, it is really loud.
