It sounds like there is a very diverse opinions about these cpu's.
At the moment though, i'm slightly more on the Venice side than San Diego, as it does not sound like there are very big advantages compared to performance/value. It might not be a big price difference, but still a bit for me. As i'm planning to upgrade at some point in the future and for new im sure 3500+ will do wonders for me (as im only using on Pentium2 350Mhz right now!)
