Nice one. Hows the DAC? What do you use for amplification?

I like the look of the SUB. Is it for 10" driver? I have an excellent 10" driver I need to get around to building a decent enclosure for it. Currently using it in a little eltax atomic a10 enclosure and apart from the fact the built in amp is crap, the size of cabinet can not handle this big bad driver - port chuff city baby.

DAC feeds into a dbx 223xl crossover which feeds a Samson Servo 120a bridged for the sub & a homemade dual LM3886 monoblock for the mains. You can just see the corner of the rack all the kit is in on the left of the photo. It's the result of me trying to 'downsize' my setup... ending up with a 6U 50kg rack...

It's 8" actually. I ended up with 3x of these drivers but even 1x sub is overkill for my current living arrangements so I have no idea what to do with the other 2x drivers...

    Re: Show Us Your Workspace/Desk

Think I'm actually going to try to return the desk. No matter how much I tighten the bolts & how level I make it by adjusting the feet (I just spent 15 minutes with a spirit level!) it still wobbles when typing & writing. Only problem is that I got it via Ikea Edinburgh's home delivery & they probably won't send a truck to come & collect it :/

The U2410 & the monitor stand are also new Oh & the DAC

Katana1000, that's pretty awesome but you really need some decent monitors!

How can you fly sims with one/two monitors? You need to do Eyefinity with a setup like that!

If you interested, I have some Dell 2007FP's/2009's I could sell to you for cheap tho the hexus trust account thingy.

Holy crap! I don't think anyone else on here is going to beat that.... "here's my desk - I stole it from a military flight school but keep it shtwm or the black helos will appear, real ones this time"

It looks like it may work out cheaper for you to actually buy a plane?

ps. I'd love to have a go at that

    Re: Show Us Your Workspace/Desk

I ended up replacing the wobbly Ikea desk with a much sturdier one. The supplier was absolutely pathetic though - everything that they could've screwed up they did screw up, some things multiple times!

The 2007WFP is about 6 years old & obviously discontinued, the 2410 is a current model & widely available new.

Now a home owner here is my study!

Not as good as having a full AV setup and I miss having a tv in the same room, but its probably more productive for working!

Only that tidy as the missus' parents were round the other day. Also curtains fell down oops! Need some art or photographs on the walls too!
