I've heard (various audio oriented forums: 3dss and head-fi) that for headphones (analog out), only the Elite Pro stands out (better DAC).

*Shrug* - I wonder how much can the Elite Pro's price drop.

    Grrrrr!
Supposedly you can use your old PSU on a PCI xpress motherboard, there will be 4 pins left with nothing plugged into them (Motherboard is 24pin and PSU is 20pin) the other 4 pins are needed to power the PCI xpress videocard slot.

But if you have a videocard which uses the 6pin connection to power it then just buy a 4PIN to 6PIN adaptor and that should make up for the missing 4 pins.

The only thing is the clip on the 20 pin PSU will not lock onto the 24pin socket on the motherboard so could be easily pulled out while the power is on (ouch)

Anyone else clarify this for me? as im not 100% sure

Actually, my Tagan will be fine as it is a 24-pin mobo connection with a 24-20 pin convertor. Also has two 4 pin connections for the CPU power. Where I think I may have to replace it is that it is a 480W PSU which isn't THAT powerfull these days....

Is the problem related to the mode u are using? If u leave the card set to 'entertainment' mode the settings in BF2 will be unavailable/blocked.
