Asus K8S-MX Front panel audio connection problem

Hi guys,

I've just built a system using the K8S-MX mobo.

Problem I have is I cant figure out how to connect the front panel audio.

The cable on the case is as follows:-

Black - Marked 'G'
Orange - Marked 'MIC'
Blue - Marked 'L'
Red - Marked 'R'

These are the connections on the mobo:-

BLINE_OUT_L
Line out_L
NC
BLINE_OUT_R
Line out_R
+5VA
MICPWR
AGND
MIC2

I'm really not sure which pins to use as most cables from the case have more connections.

Please help.

By the sounds of it, if you connect the front audio, then you'll lose the rear audio ports, as there are no returns on the l/r channels. Therefore no signal to the back ports (*thats why they are usually connected by jumpers*). Check you havent got some other sound wires in a separate bundle.
