I was just wondering if my shuttle could have one of these videocards. i am only wondering because of the power issue. there isn't extra power connectors. yes i know get y adapters but is that safe since i have a 350 w psu?

Will run very happily indeed. I ran a 6800gt in an older shuttle (sn45g) with a 250w psu!
Not around too often!
Well two XFX 7800GTXs work. They have a 40mhz overclock, so they are a little hotter than spec, but still half of nVidia's spec limit.. IMHO it's a wonderful box.Originally Posted by htxdragon
My understanding is that the Shuttle power supply specs are tighter than many PSU manufacturers. So when they say 300 or 350 watts it really is. Much of the reason for the 500+ watt requirement is that many 500 wat PSUs only produce a "continuous" supply of as little as 250 watts, although many are getting better. Tom's Hardware has a recent reveiw of many PSUs that show these trends.Originally Posted by biffsbiz
