    RAM advice please ???

    Current setup:
    MSI KT6 mobo, AMD Barton 2500 XP (o/c to 3200 speeds via 200FSB), 2 x 256Mb PC2700 branded value RAM.

Advice please on what RAM to get for short-term upgrade. Probably need to upgrade next year sometime when current rig does'nt cut it anymore - prob to A64.
Not worried about Dual-channel for small gain - current mobo does'nt support anyway - only use PC for playing games & burning CD/DVD/s.

Opinions sought on the following please ???
    OCZ Performance 1024MB DDR400 PC3200 CL 3-3-3-8 (LIFETIME WARRANTY) (OCZ4001024PF) - 78.99 incl

    Kingston 1GB 400MHz DDR PC3200 DIMM 3-3-3 76.16 incl

    Thanks in advance ThePimPsTeR

Their cs is crap. Work waited over 2 months for a refund for a product they didn't even dispatch. They don't reply to eNotes, and their a general pain in the a** when things go wrong. However, if their price is so good your willing to risk it, go for it.

Otherwise the guys at Scan will go out of their way to help you, really great guys imho.

I'd decide where you were going and buy for that. Otherwise this £80 is just being thrown away.
