This is the exact reason why I haven't jumped for a DFI SLI-D. The blurb says it supports 3G/s but there is nothing about Sata II. Even people over at DFI street are confused.

Will I get 300Mb/sec should have been my original question, to which I hope the answer is yes. In which case one would see a significant increase in performance from IDE (100/133) or even SATA (150) correct ?
