    Only if the drive can sustain speeds that high (I dont think even raptors get that fast?). No real perfomance benifits as of yet, though the cables are now more secure.

    This is the exact reason why I haven't jumped for a DFI SLI-D. The blurb says it supports 3G/s but there is nothing about Sata II. Even people over at DFI street are confused.

    Will I get 300Mb/sec should have been my original question, to which I hope the answer is yes. In which case one would see a significant increase in performance from IDE (100/133) or even SATA (150) correct ?
