    Building a PC into stereo housing

    has anybody done thiss with a SFF system? Any photos?

    Main question is.....how easy is it to use the original optical drive housing with a PC drive in its place.....

    been umming and ahhing over a SFF project for a while, an just seen this......

    It's an interesting idea. From what little i've seen, people who build special PCs like this end up spending quite a bit more so it's not a cheap way of building computers.

    Off the top of my head, you would have problems finding a right size of motherboard, and you'd probably have to consider an external power supply.

    I was even considering rripping the inside of the speakers out, putting smaller speakers in, and utilising the rest of the space for other bits an pieces....the motherboard is my biggest worry though.....
