    HDMI & shuttle

are there any amd based shuttles with HDMI currently built into them???

got a toshiba 32wlt58 and i would rather be able to use the HDMI input on the TV rather than DVI or VGA

am i gonna have to wait, or is it just gonna be the high end stuff?

    thanks

I used my shuttle from a basic GeForce FX5200 with DVI to HDMI converter. Runs Hi Def thru that. I had some problems getting it to a 720 pixels depth, which wa solved by switching to a standard VGA cable - but that might've been cos of my tele.

    My System: Coolermaster Centurion 5 (black) case, Intel E6750 Core2Duo, Tagan Easy-Con 530W, Asus P5B Deluxe WIFI, OCZ 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 CL 4-4-4-15 PLATINUM XTC, Samsung SpinPoint 200Gb SATA2 / 2 x Maxtor DiamondMax 10 200Gb SATA, 256Mb Sapphire ATI PCI-E X1950PRO, Creative X-Fi Xtreme 7.1, 19" Daewoo W9ZQ Black Widescreen TFT, 4Mb Virgin Cable Broadband (formerly Blueyonder) with Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G and DD-WRT firmware.

wasnt really wanting to use an external card.

was really wondering if anything based on AMD is gonna come withhdmi in the near future. i have my eyes on the ST20G5, but HDMI would be nicer

lots of tvs only accept 1280x720 and 1900x1080 (or whatever) over hdmi, and they do NOT support their native res over this medium. worth checking first.
