    SB77G5 problem during startup

I set up a sb77g5 shuttle with a Pentium 4 541 at 3.2 GHz. The problem is that while I can get into Bios and change settings, once I get through the post screen and the system is going to boot it freezes... I tried to change parts, I used another VGA, I tried with no disks on but still the same thing. I tested the CPU to another motherboard and it works just fine. The only thing is that the Bios is fb77s00b while the latest one is fb77s00m. But I can not update it since the system doesn`t boot. Any suggestions ?????

    Thanks in advance

Does it due to the EM64T feature of P4 541 CPU ?! I think i875 chipset do not support EM64T, Hmm... by the way, you have to find another old type 775 CPU to boot up and flash the BIOS, maybe.

I resolved the problem. It was the BIOS that needed flashing with an older 775 non 64Bit CPU. I had to find one from a friends friend and after the Bios update, everything was fine.
