    Digital Camcorder Advice

Right, i am looking for a nice Digital camera as the wife is expecting a baby in October! I want to get a good one but not too expensive. I am a complete noob when it comes to Digital Camcorders so any advice would be great. Budget is between £250 - £300 max. Maybe less if the right one is suggested. Thanks.

    Yeah..

If you don't have the time to edit stuff other than a few basic effects which lot of consumer cams let you do on the cam itself then that will sort of narrow the choice a little.

Have a look at Panasonic models. Pretty decent.
