Putting my PC into storage - anything I should do?

Hi all, hope you can help - tomorrow I'm putting my stuff into student storage with SafeStore for 3 months while I go home for Summer, and that includes my PC, monitor, printer, TV etc etc.

Just wondering if there's anything anyone can think of that I should do before locking away my beloved machine for the next 3 months. Should I unplug the cables, remove the hard-drives, anything like that? Should probably also put a password on my XP account just in case, not that it'd do much anyway.

Hope you can help me out.

Removing the hard drives sounds like a good way to risk trashing them, small knocks putting them in and out of cases can cause damage.

Thanks guys. Will take everything into consideration.

Have thought about taking my hard-drives with me just in case I need data off them while I'm at home, but I'm just worried that they'd get damaged in my bag (seeing as I'm flying home). Will think about that one though.
