SATA Driver install without Floppy?

Hey guys,
Just waiting for my new rig to arrive, only problem is its going to be running SATA drives, maybe in raid, so I need to do the Hit F6 and install the drivers from floppy during windows install..

Only problem is, I don't have a floppy drive... Does anyone know if you can install them from a USB Memory Stick, or how about from a USB floppy? (I also don't have these, but could maybe order either )

Nope - in Vista you can, but for XP you'll be needing to slipstream the drivers to an XP installation CD on another system before hand.

Slipstream the drivers onto your install disc. Job done with minimal faffing.

depending upon the chipset it may not need drivers for use with single SATA drives but for RAID use it will.

Another vote for nlite, you can do all sorts of great things with it, including motherboard drivers etc.
