Angry Noisey inductor - high pitched squeak

At least I think it's an inductor. A previous thread here suggests as much.

I just got a Shuttle SN21G5 and there's a high pitched squeal that seems to correlate with CPU usage... it's the power delivery system for the CPU. More specifically, I've narrowed it down to this:

I think it's a power inductor, somebody correct me if I'm wrong. It gets quite hot, like the other two, but if I press down on it I can muffle the sound.

Any ideas on a solution? Do I complain to Shuttle, or do I wait for age to take its toll on my hearing?

That's not an inductor. The inductor is the yellow thing with coiled wire on the left.

I'm not sure what that green thing is. Too big for a resistor IMO, and funny package.

I know that the visible coil is an inductor, but I have a funny feeling that the green packaging is also an inductor... bit of a funny one though. Failing that it could be a power resistor, maybe? It certainly gets very hot, which would support that theory... doesn't stop it making a noise though

Anyone got any ideas for this? It's quite annoying.

    Thanks.

    Gah.

Shuttle support (who are very quick to respond to queries, incidentally) have confirmed that the component is an inductor (HA! told ya!) and after removing my VGA card and it still happening, have said that it looks like I'll have to exchange the system and have them test this one in the lab.
