Compatability

I need to know whether this is compatible as i need to test whats wrong with my motherbaord... so i was wondering if you could take a look at this...

so thats what the AGP slot looks like on my mobo

oh just to let you know it is a Geforce 2 MX made by Creative" and was pulled out of a Pentium 3 computer...

Don't follow this advice until someone with more knowledge than me weighs in but I think that agp slots are keyed so that if it's compatable a card will fit and if not it wont. i.e. an old agp 2x card that requires more volts wont fit in a 1.5v 8x slot.

whats tyhe worst that can happen if i were to try it and it didnt work for whatever reason?
