Quick question (front panel audio jack with audigy se)

Hi Hexus clan I have a quick question regarding my Sound blaster Audigy SE card, How on earth do I get this to work with the front panel audio/mic jack on the front of my computer case?

At the moment I am using the on-board Realtek HD just to use the front port as my headphones don't reach far enough when there connected in the back.

Pls Id like to get this card fully working as its just sat doing nothing

    Thanks.

(If you need any more info just let me know)

Does your card have white 10pin connector? That's where you should connect your front audio. Read this thread for more detail. (http://www.devhardware.com/forums/mu...)Alternatively you can install Audigy and Realtek driver at the same time and switch which audio device you use from control panel audio setting when nececssary. It doesn't take more than a minute to change from one to the other.

Ah thanks for the quick reply notsobig yes my card has a white 10pin connector, however the audio lead from my case dose not fit as its a 2x5 block, the connector on the soundcard is a long 10pin block if you know what I mean

My motherboard is a MSI-7210 i945GM2 if that's any help.

The other method having the 2 card running sound ideal, would this cause driver/irq conflicts etc?

    Thanks.

I'm running both my audio device as described for more than 6 month now without any problems, so I'd say no
