Palit 8800gts @ £240.

Ok so scan have the 8800gts at £240 for today only, my question is are they going to go down any further in price over the next few (3) weeks as I'm trying to decide to buy now or wait a bit longer and hope they come down in price a bit more, what does everyone else reckon.

I personally think they'll drop a little on release of R600, though when that's going to be is anyone's guess

In computing (shopping for) if you can wait, then it is best to do so.

I don't think they will come down by much, as the palit is fairly priced comparred to the competition. But, as mentioned by Splash, ati are due (overdue??) to release their next gen cards soon, which should affect nvidia card prices to a small extent.

And for the extra £30 i would rather get a 640mb version

Ive bought it now anyway just need the mobo next month and I'm set.

Do you think that the price of the 640mb version will drop on the/after the release od the 320mb version due to less sales??
