Been buzzing tanks again in my IL2, just wondering if there's anything in particular that governs your rank/promotions etc?

So far I've got 55 ground kills and 7 air kills (3 of those being 109's in the last mission), I think that's from 20 sorties. At the moment I'm a leiutenant with 2 awards.....any suggestions???

Cracking game though One of these days I'll climb into something a bit more nimble and get some dogfighting under my belt.
