Online pc gaming - soooo boring now!

Let me just start by saying this is my view on the current state of gaming and yes I'm a cynical person lol:

Games didn't always have the best graphics so game designers put a lot of effort into the story line to captivate gamers, now anything which sells well will just spawn sequel after sequel of the same regurgitated S***. I refuse to play games such as COD any more because it always feels like the same game re-branded with minor features added in, then again I've not played since Black Ops.

Additionally like all companies they will look for number of sales and profit, so we are in the age now of "Everyone gets through together", games that would last you a week and be challenging are normally quite easy and may only take 5h - 3d to complete. Graphic technology has advanced nicely but if the game isn't up to par it's as good as a polished turd.

For the last 2 years I haven't really enjoyed gaming as much as I used to, so here I sit playing World of Tanks waiting for something good to restore my faith. (Like and updated version of FFVII... like that's going to ever happen).

Don't even get me started on Console ports...

Its not just gaming its everything .. films have been awful this year .

If it werent for TWD, GOT & sport id be up the creek with so called entertainment , and godforbid tv .. id rather radio any day than that.

I m going to sound some sort of elitist here but I really think they need to create some sort of filter on the web, it reminds of exactly what happened to mushrooms after after the hippies got hold them.. the web is no longer sacred , its a breeding ground for trash...

We should get some HEXUS matches going; I'd be game.

However I spend alot of time playing EVE Online or Football Manager.. However I'd be up for some LFD2 or HL2 - gravity gun is lolz!!
