    An interesting Site...

    http://www.stormbirds.com/project/general/updates.htm

Found this on the Me262 today, my new boss of the department seems to be well into WWII planes, i've just spent most of lunch time talking about Forgotten Battles and Duxford a few weeks back and he's been going on about how he sat in a real ME262 - original and thats why he loves this restoration project.

Damn interesting read, but the site is a bit slow...

Yes this does rock rather a lot, spend 40minutes later in the afternoon talking about different planes, how he was in the RAF for years, about what he flew etc etc. Nothing like a spitfire but damn interesting never the less.

Plus funniest thing is he's now looking at buying il2 FB and AEP

No doubt mate - if it does fly, fly well, and more importantly survives... it WILL be seen in airshows around the world... it's just waaaaay too important a piece of history to not do it
