What do you think of my new site

I've just converted the site to a php/mysql site with the hope of making things far easier to update and I'd appreciate some of you have a wee lookie at it to check for any errors.

    http://www.gordyhand.co.uk/index.php

I've got my old html driven site still live so there maybe the odd dead link on things such as the gallery navigation but other than that its ok as far as I know.

I plan to do a full content management admin section over the next week or so to make things complete.

    Cheers

menu at the top disappears in mozilla firefox, probably due to the incorrect way in which IE handles the box model in CSS.
Other than that it looks fine, pretty good for a first pass at a table-less design

I rewrote the page and your CSS file. They're now about 60% smaller

    Things to note
    - all HTML tags should be in lower case for XHTML compliance
    - no need to apply a class to each <a> tag in a div. Just set a style rule for .className a { } and that will deal with all of them
    - you can use the border property of a div to get a border, no need for a 1px high div to get that effect
    - always build in mozilla or opera first to get proper code and then apply the hacks to make it work in IE. You'll end up with better code which will work in more browsers and will be more future proof

If there's any questions on what I did then let me know. It looks more or less like the one you have at the moment but you obviously tweak it to suit
