Its been agesssssssssssss since we had a fun night so to ease this serious lapse I have created a few new fun and getting to know your plane maps. This is what I have so far.

P11c Madness Map

Same team, Air Start, lots of bridges and towns to fly round and under. The rules of this map...None anything goes highest minus wins.

Glads n Stuka v CR42s n Stuka

Blue and Red Teams, ground tgts (light ones) some flack (light)

Figher Pilots Escort your Dive Bomber
Dive Bombers Mess up the place.

Rules No ground vulching however if you are clever enough to catch any unescorted any plane with its wheels off the ground including the metre before and after take off fair game. Wheels down on ground then he is safe from fighters however dive bombers may bomb any plane. No ramming

Battle of Britain

Hurricanes and Glads v 109es, Stuka, HE111

Some ground tgts on Allied side, its simple really, Blue attack Red defends

Same rules re planes and take off landing etc. Flack will be heavier in key areas

Its 43, 44 in the Desert

Spits, P51s, P40s v 109s, 190s

Pure fighter map no ground targets seperate comms and Lead Wingman tactics activley encouraged. Wheels Down is safe and includes the sign of surrender. If you surrended as soon as you cross safe lines honour demands you bail your wheels must be down at all times any wheels up is considered fair game, surrended planes may not raise wheels and rejoin the fight, however any escorting wingmen are fair game. No plane with wheels down is to be attacked.

So settings will be as follows.

Cockpits on
External Views on including F6 external Padlock
Icons Off
Minimap on
In the 43,44 map externals will be off but icons limited to friendly 50metres

Coop possible with notice.

So who can do when, thinking maybe one day next week
This invitation is open to all IL2ers MA or otherwise, Aces and Combat Virgins

If enough response the server will be passworded but for that Ill need 11 others. Server holds 18 to 20 but will be limited to 12, 14 or 16 depending on expected turn out.

Well I have to say Im tempted by the following. Wednesday night from 8pm to whenever for BoB map and Glad map and Friday for 43,44 followed by a drunken P11c madness map. For those that havent played P11c Madness its a total blast and gets very very silly on account of the fact that right by the airfield is a large town with lots of tall factory chimneys
