Question about skinning / List of greens & rare items i got spare

Im currently a journeyman skinner, i can't see the point in paying 50s to go up to the next level? wot are the advantages of progressing in skining? do you skin faster, or get more leather per skin????


Made a list of some spare stuff i have, pm me in game or on here and ill post it out............. no idea of costs for each item............ im sure if you need them you will know how much a fair price to pay is All monies raised will go towards the "Get Madocks a tabbard fund"

RARE ITEMS
1 x Malachite
1 x Dry Scorpids Eye (I think its rare anyhow)

GREEN ITEMS
Chargers Pants Of the Bear (Vendors will pay 1s 92c)
Notched Short Sword of stamina (Vendors will pay 2s 44c)
Training sword of stamina (Vendors will pay 3s 6c)
Ancestral Woolies (Vendors will pay 2s 2c)
Severing Axe of the Whale (Vendors will pay 2s 98c)


(ill be chucking them on auction on wednesday afternoon if nobody wants them).

The advantages of levelling up on your skills mean you can harvest higher level materials. Which means making more money in the long term. Not paying for the next level will hamper you. After all no one wants low level leather.

The scorpids eye is not very rare. Sell it.

I wouldn't bother with a tabard at your level. Its way too expensive. I only purchased mine last night.

I'd re-interate what pug says, money is key in early levels, the skills cost every two levels should eat all your cash up. I'm a bit ashamed to say i've still not got my guild tabard, but with the way things are going the entire world will have worn some armour or have a weapon of mine by three months down the line

OK, ive been purseuded.................. im gonna save my dosh instyead of the tabbard, in 4 levels time i get 2H weps etc so will need lots of money
