stupid IL2/FB/FP question...

Right guys, have looked everywhere without luck, how do I get a static screesnhot from this game??? Driving me mental!!!

Pressing the Print Screen button saves uncompressed .tga image files in your main FB directory...

And on a similiar, but slightly different theme...how do you go about making a video? Saw a tutorial a while back, but can't seem to find it anymore...

ok....slow down

First..you need something like Paintshop Pro to reas the screenies.

The hit Print Screen in game...then go look in the game directory....and look for the files called "grab000" or "grab001"

open with Paintshop Pro (or similar) and then "Save as" jpeg...

to make films...is a lifetime

Bit of a bugger this, but now I got meself a nice 17" tft, the game runs worse cos the native resolution is 1280 * 1024...might have to go back to a crt!!!

no..run the game in 1024x768...TFT is fine at that for GAMES...its fine print it stuggles.

my 17" is at 1024x768

tried, and its looks "smeary"...will investigate further!!!
at 1024 * 768 on my setup, can run 2x AA
Athlon XP @2083mhz, 1 gig PC2700, Radeon X800 Pro @ 525/525.
The monitor is a Hitachi doobry with 16ms panel
