Laptop for the Wife

I’m looking for a Laptop for the wife, basically, to stop her coming into me as I’m about to face my first dragon on Skyrim and saying ‘I need to use the computer’!

All she does on it is surf the net (Shopping, Facebook etc) and a bit of Word and PowerPoint when doing assignments, so it doesn’t need to be flashy, just reliable really. She doesn’t play games, and wouldn’t watch movies on it or anything like that.

Anyone got any good recommendations?

So true. The other day she came in as I was installing Skyrim and said ‘We haven’t seen much of each other the last couple of days (She’s a Nurse so works nightshifts sometimes) so come and sit down with me and watch some telly.’ Feeling guilty, I did as she asked and settled in to our Father Ted box set. 5 minutes in, her Sister rings. Does she tell her that she will call her back tomorrow, as herself and Husband are having some time together? Does she ****. I watched THREE whole episodes on my own. Couldn’t make it up could you?
