Don't kid urself. Evolution, couldn't be more obvious.

Jimmy, Jim, Jimbo, Jimbob, Jimmy-Jim-Jim, Jimmy Choo, J, The J-man, The Jster, J-to-tha-I-to-tha-M-to-tha-M-to-tha-Y, Jason, Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan:
I know, you know, and everyone with at least an eighth of a functioning brain cell knows that the chances of the story of Adam and Eve being actually true and as described, are zero. Some Leopard Seals know. They worked it out one quiet Tuesday when there was nothing much happening.
But, alas, it is human nature to believe in, accept, and generally not question, any old mush your are force fed.
Ignore, for now, the seething mass of terminally gullible, hard of thinking, tambourine banging, God botherers, who seem intent on continuing to humiliate themselves by worshipping the Moon well into the 21st century, and look elsewhere...
People believe in ghosts. Goblins. Talking to the dead. Horoscopes. Fortune tellers. Mystic men. Magic. Ouija Boards. Mediums.
You name it, some gullible chump will disengage the old grey matter and become a believer. Its the way things are.
So don't get too bothered with trying to disprove or pick fault with the infinitely dodgy viewpoint of your average Moon worshipper.
In America there is a museum featuring a Stegosaurus with a saddle. You'd think that the indisputable scientific fact that the Stegosaurus was extinct millions of years before modern humans evolved would sort of cut that exhibit down, but there it is.
Carbon dating of rocks would also seem to throw a spanner in the works of the whole creationist argument. Only if using sane and ration argument. Now... if these people were sane and rational in the first place, they wouldn't believe hook, link and sinker in a book which features a talking snake.
So it goes without saying you can not use things like rational logic, because by the very nature of being a Jesus tickler, you have to turn your back on those things.
These people will say black is white. They will stare at a black piece of card and claim it is white.
Ignore them and hopefully they will go away.
My personal favourite is Odin, by the way, Odin created God to trick the Devil into creating Vishnu, who tricked Ra into tricking Christians into believing in God.
I believe he may have planted dinosaur bones in the ground and rigged up all the carbon-14 atoms as well.
He's crazy like that.

^and the enduring popularity of reality television.

Maybe because you joined an IT forum to post threads about Religion, Wine and other random things... I don't see how that really proves anything in your psychoanalysis, it's not "freethinking" it's just off-topic. Rather than hostility I think you'll find it's more confusion as to why you didn't join a more appropriate forum.
1.21 GIGAWATTS!!!!!
What I want to know is why the OP uses ----------- or ___________ after quoting a post it's not necessary. After all this thread was going nowhere from the start so a bit of extra derailing won't go amiss. If the OP had bothered to enter "evolution" into the search function they would have found a few topics on the subject.
Right now it's 2pm and I have the afternoon off I'm gonna get a GnT and play with my 7 1/2 month old niece. She's vastly more entertaining than this thread.
"Reality is what it is, not what you want it to be." Frank Zappa. ----------- "The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike." Huang Po.----------- "A drowsy line of wasted time bathes my open mind", - Ride.
Again. Yawn.
Jimmy Choo Choo Choo.
You don't believe in God and you don't believe that the McCanns are guilty of anything.
Great.
Good for you!
Have a companion cube!
