    Obama or McCain?

Now that Obama has eventually secured the democratic nomination, who do you think will win the US election or more importantly who do you want to win?

Never tasted Obama, but McCains are a bit dry for my taste. I prefer McDonalds fries.

That all depends on whether and how well Clinton backs Obama from now on...

how can you ask the question of "who do you want to win"?

how does anyone with a greater than zero number of brain cells even contemplate mccain?

I'm curious whether Clinton will put her full support behind Obama, if so that should get him most of her votes. However if she does not, then he could lose a lot of votes.

I read somewhere (think it was BBC) that a poll showed that 40% of those who voted for Clinton would vote for McCain if she did not win the nomination.

mccain's the man who called his wife a ****, on stage. and since the swear filter doesn't like that word, imagine the most nasty word you can think of to fit the gap.

mcnasty's temper is legendary. george bush successfully campaigned against him in south carolina in 2000 on the basis that mccain was insane.

reckon the guy who said he wants to be in iraq for another 100 years, and that baghdad is a safe place to wander about without any protection, is the best choice as leader of the free world?

Mc Cain is another war monger and to be fair another bloody head case. Id pick Obama over him any day. But Americans in general are stupid so im sure they will pick Mc Cain. They prefer the trigger happy type.

But, sunny jim, the poll does not say who do you want to win, it says who do you think will win.

Yes, but the poll question is who do you think will win. And thats why I voted for the chip man.

More like "How do you want to be executed - hanging or electric chair?"

Or "Who do you want running your country - Pol Pot or Genghis Khan?" "Hitler or Stalin?"

Personally, I can't say I'm exactly gasping in eager anticipation at either of them winning. The main thing wrong with elections is that they always seem to end up being won by a flippin' politician.

Who can the big companies etc that really run the US make do what they want, McCain or Obama?

Insert your own conspiracy theory here.
