Why are you so worried about this thread? If you're subscribed, unsubscribe from it, otherwise ignore it.

As long as there's no spammage the thread is just fine, infact it's a useful thread in which to discuss banking experiences...

Right, Kez is first on my Kill Bill style death list.
Seriously though, I am only joking (grovelling to the new moderator) as my excessive use of smilies should testify.

Hey I'm not bothered , but let's at least try to keep the thread on topic please.

    No more off-topic posts folks.

As an addition to my previous post of some time ago. I have since been onto Lloyds-TSB about my Electron card and they won't upgrade it until I'm 18 (when it will become a Visa Delta.) They don't do solo full stop, which is rather a pain for me, seeing as though solo is accepted far more online, and electrons are just... well rubbish.

Why isn't Nationwide on this poll?
I've been with almost all banks and Nationwide is by far the best.
Halifax went downhill years ago, NatWest was never up the hill in the first place

lol yeah that Electron card is junk - just a crappy cash card in effect. I worked for Lloyds for 6 months. Roll on your 18th birthday.

    Or just change banks.

That appears to be the only reason for changing these days; if your bank doesn't offer you a service that you want then go to someone that does.

It's only after people start to vote with their feet that the bank will start to do anything.

Abbey because my dad worked for them for 30 years, and Natwest because my Gran set up an account with them that gives me 20 quid a month
