Oh yeah, i entirely agree with you, if you had beliefs, of course you would accept them.

But to test those beliefs, given the above scenario, how many people would ignore them?

I lost my virginity to some one I loved and thought I would be with for ever. We are now not going out. I feel a bit stupid about that. But, As people have said before that sex is an expression of deep love. We were Deeply in love and going out for over a year. If it feels right and you feel that strongly that you cant express your love in any other way then why not. I have alot of respect for people who wont have sex before marage. I just cant hold my emotions in that well. But so far they have only been that strong with one person. I hope The next person I do it with turns out to be my wife because casual sex would feel wrong and I'd feel dirty afterwards.

I didnt lose my virginity to my last girlfriend (who I went out with for over a year) I was deeply in love with her but I cant say I was prepared to have sex with her, this turned out to be wise as she was cheating on me (but thats another story).

I really think that I might wait until engagement at least, thats not because of any religious belief (im an atheist) but simply because I want to be sure that its a person that I can love and trust.
