well I ordered some parts from scan and ccl on thursday, they arrived on friday and started the build on saturday.
Didn't start building until saturday the 18th September due to my little treasure running amock, my parents arrive and take my daughter for the weekend, right its 11 am time to crack on.
first removed the case top cover and removed the stock fan and replaced with 2 led fans, did side panel as well but forgot to get picture
then added the coasters that came with the case
next the PSU and cables and refitted the cable cover
by this time my friend came to my house as he has had more experience in building PC's than i have
next installed the SSD
next the mother board - but there was a problem
so he took me to CCL just up the road from me and i got a new mobo so we could continue.
next to install the chip - forgot to take photo of
and then fitted the CPU cooler andadd extra fan to the radiator
next installed the RAM
next the GPU
next added the CD drive - forgot to take picture of
next added the 120mmfan to the tunnel below the GPU
next added the cables and did some cable management
next install my 2 TB HDD WD Caviar Green (from my other PC) - no picture - and then install all the necessery programs software and drivers and replace side cover
then by this time it is 8 pm (i know i was at it since 11 am but i wasn't rushing and we were have a laugh in the process and just generally having a good time) an I turned of my living room lights
not as red as i would have hoped for but i can always install some cathodes or some other lighting kit in th case somewhere later when i get some more money together. All in all happy with what it has turned out like in general and i can say it is 1 hell or a lot quieter than my AMD rig and this case has more fans including an extra 1 on the CPU radiator
