Triad "Tian di hui" - a couple of problems.

    Hello,

I bought my 3XS system quite some time ago now, and in honesty I probably should have refilled it before now, however when trying to follow the refill video I ran into problems. The way my pipes are arranged, I am unable to pull out the reservoir. I am able to pull part of it out, however it will not come out far enough to be able to fill it.

The second problem I am having is that one of the fans is making a rather loud, dull whine. I wish I had the nous to be able to diagnose perfectly myself, however from speaking to others I feel it may be the bearings. I am unable to reach this fan due to where it is positioned in the case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks.

    Hi

You can remove the DVD drives this will give you enough room to fill the reservoir up

Which Fan is making the noise is it the one in the middle of the system with the small radiator behind it or one of the top ones?

Please if possible send a picture in to systemsupport@scan.co.uk and use the Build and Invoice number as the subject line

    Regards

    Ben

    Thanks for the swift response,

I won't be home for a few days so won't be able to get anything sent through straight away, but the fan is the one in the middle.

I'm not sure how good a picture of the fan I will be able to get, but I will take a few for you if necessary.

    Thanks again.

    Hi

The fan in the middle is the hardest one to change as it means stripping the case and taking most of the PC apart

If the fan has got a bit clogged up with dust and fluff this can cause it to get a bit louder hopefully it is not failing

    Regards

    Ben
