    Problem with New 3XS System

    Hello

    I have received a new 3XS system that appears to have a problem with one the the memory modules. I have phoned the support line but always get the answering machine. Left a message this morning but haven't heard anything back so thought I would leave a post here.

    I am getting BSOD crashes right from first installing Windows XP even before adding drivers. I ran memtest86 and it shows multiple failures.

    To troubleshoot I tried the following:-


    Reduced the system back to stock clock speeds but this did not help.

    Removed one of the memory modules and tested with memtest86 and got no errors.

    Swapped the modules and memtest86 again showed errors.

    Swapped the modules a few more times to verify and one module consistently gives errors while the other does not. Both modules were tested in the same slot.

    Thanks for the prompt reply. I don't appear to be able to send PM's on the forum. The option is not there when I click you user name. Also tried following the link from the FAQ and got a message that I don't have permission to access the page.

    Unfortunately there's a minimum post count limit before PM's are available on the Hexus forum to prevent abuse from spammers.

    I believe Sanjay has left a message for you on your answering machine?
