    My system order

Hello, i've recently ordered a 3xs system which is currently in the process of been built. However the despatch date for it was yesterday, 23/3/11 so im just wondering what the status of my build is.

I have been emailed the automated tracking emails on each stage, however the last one was stage 7 - quality control. That last email was on the 22nd, i havent had anymore emails now that the despatch date has passed.

So im just curious as to weather there has been any problems with the build makeing the time it is takeing even longer?

Hope to get an answer back soon please, i havent called youreselfs yet but i probably will later this afternoon if i dont hear anything more.

    Build Number - 32828
    Invoice Number - E1609145

    Re: My system order

Just a quick update, im guessing people have been reading this who may be interested in ordering a system from Scan ........ plenty of views, sadly no reply to my post. But i have had communication through emails, my system has been despatched so it says ..... although Netsolve have emailed me saying they will be picking it up in the next 24 working hours.

A bit of a downer really since on tracking its 'despatched' yet they havent got it yet, so im still waiting to have a call from Netsolve. Dont get me wrong im happy to know its atleast been built and on its way soon. For the wait time im hopefull my system woks fine with no problems lol ........

I understand Scan are busy, it seems there systems are very popular! I'll update again when i have the system. Hopefully that will be within a day or two

I am on the same boat with you. My system was ready for dispatch on wednesday and got an email from netsolve on thursday evening saying they will pick it up in the next 24 working hours. Doesnt look like its getting picked up today and tomorrow is the last of the remaing 8 working hours. Really hope I will hear from them tomorrow...

    Re: My system order

Well my system finially arrived today :] Looks very well built, nice and tidy inside etc. Currently downloading/installing Crysis 2 .............. which will surely put it to the test lol

Although theres one thing atm, on the system information it says its at 3.30ghz ...... yet its supposed to be OC'd to 4.6ghz i think it was. Not sure if it just dosent show on that screen or not, so was wondering if i had to change something. Read about there been 2 profiles? I cant seem to work out how to do it though lol

But yeah despite the wait time, im pleased with the system so far. Thanks Scan

    Re: My system order

Hey well i got a call on my mobile 2 days before it arrived. It was an unknowen number and i was unable to answer since i was at work. So i decided to try get in touch with netsolve myself, hopeing that call was from them. I must have phoned about 20 times, no answers, no answers to messages. Called Scan got a mobile number to phone, left voicemail ........... no reply.

But the system arrived anyway, just seems like communication is rather bad to be honest :S

On a side note, im getting OC failed messages now ............ System runs fine, but i payed for an OC which seems to fail Need to chase it up.

    Re: My system order

    Hi Mike

We are looking into the issues and lack of communication regarding our system orders and this will be resolved this week

As the system is Overclocked you may need to reload the profile in the bios and please also bear in mind that an Overclocked System should not use any power saving features as per the thread below

    http://forums.hexus.net/scan-3xs-sys...ocked-pcs.html

    To load the Profile

Restart the system and Tap Del to enter the bios

Goto Exit and then Advanced Mode

    Goto Tools
    Asus OC Profile

Load from Profile 2 (For Overclock)
or Load from Profile 1 for Standard Non Overclocked Settings

Save and Exit and let the system restart, the Sandy Bridge Boards will not show the overclock in Windows and to confirm the Overclock is enabled you will need to load the CPU as they overclock on demand

We recommend CPUz to Check the Speed while running Prime 95

    Regards

    Ben
