Afternoon Scan,
Part way through the incredibly long order process I was advised that there was a "specific software installation taking slightly longer than expected." (*)
When I eventually received the server I noted that there were a number of important updates (dating back as far as March 2011) that hadn't been installed. I assumed this was all part of the service - the Windows Updated checkbox under the QC section is ticked.
Not wanting to install something that could potentially be a part of the problem hinted at above (*) I found the most recent email and replied to ask if it was ok to update. This went unanswered so I decided to raise a new OLQ via the website. This was given the same OLQ reference as before and this too remains unanswered.
If someone has the time to check my OLQ and let me know whether I can safely install the updates, I'd be very grateful.
