3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW+

Hi there,

im going to be ordering the 3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW+ by the end of next week. I will be mainly using the computer for audio work however there will be times when im doing video work as well as work with photoshop and flash.

Could you tell me if the graphics card 512MB Gigabyte HD 4550 (which i think is the best of the 4 on offer) is good enough for this, as well as to play Blu ray movies connected to a 26" HDTV?

If u may run into probles, would scan be able to, say put the radeon hd 4870 in for me instead? or should i be looking into another system all together?

If you wish to use a higher end card this will not be a problem its finding one which suits your requirements and runs quietly. I have a few options which we could look at please feel free to mail me directly *Removed*

The 4550 will be more than fine. All the process's you mentioned there are cpu intensive and don't really tax the card to be honest. Photoshop CS4 has CUDA support and offloads the processing to the graphics card if you have a nvidia card but this not applicable to ATI. The cards on the specs are all passive to keep noise out of the machine and they will all handle multiple monitors fine with hd video support.
