system speed up

i have the 240e amd 2.8 cpu on standard air cooler, with a better cooler will it run at 3.0 without any problems? my ram is 4 gig of the corsair dominator and asus m4a77td motherboard

Its not a big overclock you are looking at so it should be ok with a decent Air cooler
