    3XS Dignitas PC

Hey, ive just been casually browsing the Scan website, and saw the dignitas PC.

Now ive got a few questions...

first of all, since its advertised as a LAN pc, what does it feel like to carry around? Is it easy? Is there a handle? Does it come with a case? Can i buy a special case?

Also, in reality how big is it? Realistic chance of being able to take it on a plane as a carry-on?

Also, would any current owners of this system reccomend it?

    What are the dimensions?

Is it smaller than 55x40x20 (cm) ?

    Hi Pixxx

It looks like the Isotope cases come in two designs
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Shop/Computer-.../Isotope-Cases

    The Octo
    290 x 280 x 370 mm
    4 Kg
Looking at the pictures it appears this has a some kind of carry handle built into the top

    And the Cross
    225 x 225 x 265 mm
    4 Kg
Not sure on carry handle cant see the top of the case in the images

As for taking it to LAN
I went to the last multiplay Iseries event, there where plenty of people using the Octo type only saw one Cross type that I remember

From what I saw most people where carrying these inside large fabric style luggage bags
with all the wires keyboard, mouse and backup disks inside together, and then made a seperate trip from the car park area with the monitor
Quite a few where youngens 16+ and they didnt seem to be struggling with weight

The other popular small case at the LAN was the good old Antec 900

Hope that helps you a bit
