    Hi Ben

Thanks for your email earlier re: ordering new ports from Corsair and getting a technician to fit them.

As requested, I have sent an email with the photos - quoting the invoice and build number in the subject header (in reply to the earlier email you sent today).

    Thanks!!

How are things going now Cactus?

I'm assuming that you still have the slightly odd USB3 front panel issue but is everything else working ok?

Re: Thanks Scan for my new system - very impressed this morning.

Yes, still have the USB issue - but Ben has been super and said they will get replacement ports ordered from Corsair and have their technician fit it for me.

Indeed everything else is SUPER :-)

I have 120fps in World of Warcraft - ok that is overkill - but still nice
Also Skyrim plays amazingly well - for the first time, I dont have to worry about overheating. This dual fan GTX680 is GODLY. So far, the fan has not had to go over 34%.

I am very pleased with the system. I am also running dual monitors too - one for games and one for work. So far so good.

Pleased to hear that everything is working really well for you

Have you done any overclocking of your GPU at all or just left it at stock speeds?

I keep thinking I should benchmark my system at some point but haven't got round to it yet....still having too much fun with The Witcher 2 and Anno 2070!!!

What sort of temps are you seeing on your GTX 680 under load? I know that the card is supposed to throttle at anything above 70C but I'm never too sure how close I am to that temp.

I guess I should probably put on either Afterburner or Precision and do some testing. Have you tried either yet and if so which did you go with?

How are you getting on cactusjack? Really interested to know how the 680 signature 2 is performing as I have opted for 2 in sli in my rig and I cannot find any serious reviews on t'web at the moment, just lots of moans about people who have tried oc'ing.

It seems the general feedback is +ve at stock oc ...how are you finding them?

Re: Thanks Scan for my new system - very impressed this morning.

I believe mine is at stock - I didnt request any OCing.

So far.... it works like a dream - no issues.

Review of drivers: I have had one or two nvidia driver crashes whilst playing World of Warcraft (the screen goes blank for a second, but then all is ok - the game is still running). That's approx 2 crashes in several weeks - not bad!

Review of hardware: Runs VERY cool. Playing skyrim on highest settings - not going past 70 degrees
The fan stays within the 30 - 34% range. Playing World of Warcraft - oh look - the fan had to go to 35% for a couple of minutes

So all in all, Bodin, the card gets a big thumbs up from me. The 2 fans seems to help with cooling. I can't imagine what yours will be like with SLI - it sounds GODLY!

I am using EVGA Precision X software to monitor the card's temps, etc. If 70 degrees is not causing the card's fan to go past 35%, I would like to see what would cause the fan to go past 35%

Thanks for the feedback....Sounds excellent! Glad you have such consistency of performance. I doubt I will do much oc'ing of the cards given it is OC'd by evga ....a stock oc if you will. Not so bothered about benchmarking just want best performance possible from games!

Should get my rig this week so will let you know how I get on!

Awesome. 2 of these in SLI will be truly amazing. I wish I could have afforded a 2nd card

Re: Thanks Scan for my new system - very impressed this morning.

Bodin... I had a gtx 680 signature single fan edition and could get a rock solid stable gpu off set of +60, then RMA'd the card with EVGA and the replacement will only reliably go to +37 on the gpu, but bearing in mind this is on top of the factory O/C. Running at full speed on +37 gpu gives me a nice 1200MHz. I havn't bothered fiddling with the memory offset as tbh I dont really notice any difference when I do. From what everyone says its just pot luck with these card how far you can go and still be stable.

I thought that evga was one of the best companies for getting your card as they choose the high end chips for the top end cards like the 690 & 680. I still think that +37 is still great on a card that is running oc anyway, but +60 is just mad. I let you know how I get on with my 690, as Im getting my PC today

EVGA definitly have a great RMA process, they sent me out a new card and charged me for it, then arranged for the faulty card to be picked up after I had received the new one, as soon as they had received the faulty one they issued me a refund, the whole process from me starting an RMA with them to having the money back in my account was 8 days

Wow, I have to say my 690 is one great card, runs at 28 C ide and playing guild wars 2 at 60 C. Have just OC the card and got 1350 MHZ from it so far at a temp of 62 C so still not running very hot

62c under load and overclocked is great, it sounds like you have plenty of headroom there, do you by any chance have bf3? I have found that this is the only thing that really tests my O/C's.
