    Non OverClocked bundle

Hi, last week I sent a query through the scan website and have not had a reply, so I thought I would follow up here and see if it was any quicker.

I ordered an I5 750 OC bundle from 3XS, when I installed it and powered it up there was no overclock applied, despite being promised a 4ghz cpu it was and still is running at 2.66 as reported by windows and CPU-Z. I am wondering what can be done now, can i get a refund on the charge for overclocking which has not been done (my prefered option) or do I need to take the bundle out of the case, box it up and send it back for a replacement.

Also I notice that the Asus P55D LE that scan used in the bundle is noted to have problems booting after overclocking in the Custom PC mag sub £100 1156 motherboard test, lets hope not!

    Thanks

Rick horrocks contacted me and apparently the overclock should be held in a profile, so thanks for the info i will try this tonight.

It may not be running @ 4Ghz when you try CPU-Z due to the power saving options taking effect such as Intel-Speedstep. Try running a HD film or prime95 in the background then run CPU-Z and see what the reported speed is.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
