    Thumbs down Saturday delivery not fulfilled :/

    early Friday i ordered a PSU and case and requested a saturday premium delivery....

    to cut a long story short i called DPD saturday just expedite my delivery but i was regretfully told my order wont be be delivery today (sat) as scan have put the delivery to next day.. meaning its still in sort and wont be with you till Monday minimum

    i am a bit disappointed as i paid for a Saturday delivery and if i had known that i would be getting a next day service i would of just used my forum free shipping. the problem is i work till very late week days so sitting in for a delivery is impossible! i do not mind paying for a premium delivery as long as its fulfilled..

    on a side note i now need to return the psu,

    can anyone help on here?

    as a note i would like to add i placed this order over the phone so there was a opportunity to correct my exceptions

    I also had a Saturday delivery which didn't arrive. I did however get an email from Scan at 18:35 on Friday regarding delays with the DPD Saturday service and the parcel might not be delivered. It also added that the additional cost of the Saturday delivery will be credited to your account.

    I cant really complain since my delivery was upgraded to a Saturday one due to stock issues on thursday night/friday morning with the products I have ordered.

    Only slightly annoying thing is I have no idea where my parcel is as my tracking ID from Scan can not be found on the DPD website.

    Sadly your find that all guaranteed delivery is not guaranteed.

    There is always a clause for 'best effort'.

    Ie we will try out best to deliver, but if we dont, unlucky.

    This relates to Saturday 11th December:

    Due to the varied weather conditions our courier DPD is experiencing delivery delays.

    For every order which was booked on a Saturday 11th delivery an e-mail has been sent out to confirm that for any delayed orders, we shall credit the full cost of your delivery to your account as a gesture of goodwill.

    The e-mail was sent to every customer along with an OLQ reference, however some Saturday deliveries were possible and were fulfilled.

    For those customer's who did book but did not receive delivery on Saturday 11th you will need to contact us / PM me, where I will action your full carriage refund.

    We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your support.

    DPD aren't the only ones. DHL have a psu of mine which was ordered on Wednesday. It still hasn't left Aston yet and it was on a next day delivery.

    its getting a little annoying as I am building a machine for my Brother's Kids at the moment and I have only received one box of 3 since Wednesday. I'm meant to be delivering it on Thursday. Can't blame Scan or the resellers though, its down to the delivering companies....
