Can I return my P67 board for a full refund?

When the time comes to replace my Asus P8P67 Pro due to the recall, I'd rather simply buy a new board, do the swap out and then return my old one for a full refund. I may even take the opportunity to change from Asus to Gigabyte as I'm less than impressed with the Asus board.

AIUI, I'll be entitled to return my faulty Asus board for a full refund, is that correct? If so, when will I be able to do this?

    Many thanks,
    Toby.

So still no word on this at all?

Have seen the details of Asus' frankly pathetic exchange policy where you could be without a board for 7-10 days and I'm far from impressed.

I'm going to buy a Gigabyte replacement and will never buy another Asus product again - their customer service is a farce and the P8P67 boards fraught with problems.

Ideally I'd like to just return the board for a refund but, if this isn't possible then I'll just have to sell the replacement when it arrives.

You can return your current board to SCAN for a full refund and place a new order for any board.

    Awesome, many thanks for that.

I ordered a new Gigabyte UD4 board from yourselves over the weekend so I'll get that installed this week and then raise an RMA for the old Asus.

Should I put anything special in the RMA request, or will they understand if I just say I'm requesting a refund on a P67 board?

    Cheers,
    Toby.

It would be great if you can put a not to say due to Sandy Bridge design issue and refund required.
