SCAN Vengence Purchase

Hello,

Without going into the rather long list of disappointments and problems I have had when ordering this system (for brevity's sake), I would like to address a couple of issues that I am having with a newly purchased SCAN Vengence.

1) The HDD wasn't partitioned properly. Upon receipt, I have part of the HDD containing system information (a partition of 300MB) with the rest of the 1TB HDD unpartitioned. Of course I couldn't use this and upon advice I've initialised the drive and created a simple partition so that I can use the rest of the disk as stroage; but I'm wondering if this was the correct course of action? More worryingly, my SSD box had a note on it saying that the drive had been stolen?

2) The system seems to work quite well, but it freezes when performing random tasks. I have been running World of Warcraft on Ultra settings and it doesn't even flinch, but when opening a Tab in firefox and navigating to a webpage it can freeze for 30 seconds. The same has happened when playing Half-Life 2 and even when navigating through explorer on very small loads.

***3) When I turn the machine on, it turns itself off after a second or so and then turns on normally. What on earth is that?

If anyone could provide some help on this I would be very grateful. I've already had to return it once for repairs and I'm very seriously considering send it back for a refund, along with a call to trading standards... :/
