Asus Sabertooth X58 GIGA-LAN PORT PROBLEM

Hi, I wish I was not posting here, but here goes.

My parts I ordered arrived, I assembled the pc today, I turned on the pc, configured BIOS, I updated BIOS also to latest version.

After checking all my bios settings, I was happy to start my install of Win 7 x64, this went FAST and well.

I have a problem with the LAN port not working, 25 lan cables tested and all do not work, no lan port lights on the back of motherboard.
It has been enabled, disabled in bios, and its not found in windows, even after installing drivers, the installation reports NO DEVICE FOUND.

The onboard lan is showing signs of being dead, its also apparent the Firewire is dead also.

Please can you advise?

After my original order problems (do not wish to discuss) I would prefer if the chap who called me back after hours, would give me a call regarding this.

So far so good, Item collected today by DPD.

DPD delivered the Motherboard to scan today, and it was signed for by johnny.

Sweet, fingers crossed it wont be too long before theres a new one on its way.

One thing I have noticed though, the RETURNS section is not working for me, anyone have any ideas why? I input the RMA number and Invoice number, it says not found.

The number you posted in this thread is not the invoice number. If the order was placed online, this will start with an "E"

Please retry with the correct number, and you should be able to view the status etc.
