    Rma Swap

    Hello,

My Antec psu has developed two faults which have become quite annoying.

One can be seen in my thread to Antec here:

    http://forums.hexus.net/antec-care-h...ml#post2132925

The other is that when I turn my computer off there seems to be a high pitched squeal emanating from inside the psu unit. This is sometimes intermittent but normally happens 80% of the time the pc is off, especially after a heavy workload in games.

As you can understand if I was to RMA this to you guys I would be unable to use my computer for sometime. Is it possible for you guys to charge and send me a replacement psu and refund the cost if mine is found to be faulty?

    Regards,
    Fury

For anyone else that enquires about this the answer is 'no' from Scan. Not entirely sure why as they have nothing to lose.

    Re: Rma Swap

As you asked to be charged anyway, would have been just as quick ordering yourself a new PSU mate as the refund time would be the same whichever way you did it.

    Just a thought

I just don't want to spend £90 on another PSU if I have another in warranty. Hence buying a new one, rma the old one, then get a refund on the new one instead of getting a replacement. Will try Antec directly now, otherwise I will have to lump it if I want to use my comp for work.
