    Question 3XS Order Query - Whats Happening?

    Hi

    I ordered a 3XS system on 27th March. The initial desptach date was given as 8th April. This seemed unlikely as that was the Sunday of Easter weekend!

    I was told that someone would contact me with the Build Number. This didnt happen and I only received it when I called to change the delivery address. It was during this phone call that I was also given a revised despatch date of 14th April.

    I noticed that my order has been sitting at "Awaiting Parts" for the last week. I duely raised a support note last week (OLQ*edited*) and said I was happy to change the brand of graphics card if that was the hold up. (Leadtech 8800GTX's show as out of stock)

    I didnt recieve any reply to this. I raised another note asking if someone could advise if the change would allow the build to stay on schedule for despatch this Friday. Again, no reply.

    Im a bit dissapointed at the lack of communication from SCAN. After all, you openly state that you are not the cheapest supplier but you do pride yourself on customer service. It was for this very reason I placed the order with you instead of a cheaper competitor.

    Could someone advise on the status of my order and its scheduled despatch date please?

    Please can you PM me your e-mail address as I can see tracking e-mails were sent on the 28/03/07 15.14:12 with the Build No, Invoice number and other tracking information.

    I have PM'd this e-mail through, it seems Philip who e-mailed you made a slight error regarding the build date and sent an update through on 02/04/2007 12:32:55. I have also PM'd this through for you along with the e-mail address we have on file for you.

    I can see replies have been sent to other updates via e-mail we have sent between 02/04/07 - 05/04/07.

    I can understand how it would seem our communication has been poor if you did not receive these updates via e-mail but I can assure you these e-mail left our e-mail server to the e-mail address on your account.

    PM sent with all the above e-mails confirming the information requested

    Thanks for the quick reply Chris. PM sent with my email address.

    I did get an original order confirmation mail on the day I placed the order but since then nothing I'm afraid. No spam filters that would have stopped it so not sure whats happened.

    Since I went on a mini rant its only fair to explain to anyone reading this thread that it was nothing to do with poor customer service.

    I placed the order by phone and part of my mail address was misheard as "Jam" instaed of "Jim"

    Lancashire accent vs Scottish accent on the phone I guess
