Vista x64 and 4 gig Ram

    Hi guys,

I just recently upgraded my ram from 2 gig to 4. I have a P5n32-e sli plus motherboard.

I am running Vista Ultimate x64. However, I was getting a BSOD on every second boot.

I installed the Vista x64 hotfix from MS (KB929777).

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

and seems to have maybe sorted it. However, I got my gf to install it today as I am at work - so not 100% sure.

I was just wondering if anyone with the same motherboard is having the same problem or not?

    Thanks,

    Mark

I haven't had any more problems with BSOD since installing the Microsoft hotfix - just for those who were interested.
