    Delivery

Sorry guys but I have to really vent my anger here. City Link have yet again messed up a delivery. Out of the last 5 deliveried they have manged to mess 3 out of 5 up. I'm sick of ringing them to complain. The first time they carded an address that wasn't mine, the second time they couldn't find my address (What do there drivers not know the area???) and now this time I put down my brothers shop as the delivery address and they have supposidly carded a residential address. I told the lass on the phone does the address CMB Stores not give it away that it's a shop and not a house.

I am at a loss on how poor they are, I'm also angry that they card (supposidly) addresses which aren't mine, do they just randomly card places and not check the address. Shouldn't they kit their drivers with GPS systems. They come up with poor excuses and don't admit they messed up. I have another delivery coming tomorrow and I'm dreading what will happen to that.

you'll get a bit more of an ear if you don't try to call them "city Link" and don't try to dodge swear filters. I sympathise a great deal, and personally feel it important that scan hear about these things so they can guage the service their courier is giving.

Bit calling them a slang term for "city Link" just makes it seem like a pointless rant rather then genuine feedback

sorry totally agree I shouldn't of put the title like that. I had just gotten off the phone to them and was ready to put my fist through the monitor (more business for scan then).

Chris thats a different order I've pm'd you the order that City-Link failed to deliver yesterday. I hope they have delivered as I type this. I've check on City-Links website but it says loaded onto van. I'm just dreading that they screw it up again.

The invoice number PM'd ends in 024, which does not relate to your post. In you PM you have said the order was placed over the phone so I have also just checked your phone orders and found the order ending in 396 ( Requested delivery date 31 Jul 2007 )

We have your brothers shop address down for delivery, which was provided on placement of the order. City Link attempted delivery @ your brothers address on 31 Jul 2007 ( Delivery point closed (Carded) ).

I have just contacted City Link and they have confirmed that the delivery has been made to the wrong address, they have now aware of the error of their ways and will re-attempt delivery tomorrow

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused

    Best Regards

Chris sorry for the mixup with the order numbers I thought that was the correct number as I'm sure I got it off scan to get a tracking number for the delivery. I have spoken to my brother and he says that there is a City-Link parcel thats been delivered today (I have got other things coming but I think this must be the scan parcel). Anyways cheers for looking into this for me much appreciated.
